The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed offensive lineman Nick Zakelj to a one-year extension for the 2026 season. Zakelj, 26, was originally a sixth-round pick in 2021 and had a four-year, $3.8 million contract, though he was waived after last year’s preseason. He was later re-signed to the practice squad, bouncing on and off the unit. Throughout his career, Zakelj has played in 28 games, making two starts for the team.
