Tony Clark is resigning as head of the Major League Baseball Players Association amid an investigation by the U.S. Attorney into One Team Partners. His departure precedes collective bargaining negotiations set to begin in April for a new labor agreement. Clark, who took over the union after Michael Weiner’s death in 2013, led player negotiations in 2016 and 2022. Bruce Meyer, a key negotiator, is expected to lead negotiations again.
