AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas defeated LSU 88-85, with Dailyn Swain scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Matas Vokietaitas added a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Tramon Mark and Jordan Pope each contributed 18 points, helping Texas shoot 56% from the field. LSU’s Max Mackinnon scored 21 of his 29 points in the second half, but Texas held on, marking their fifth consecutive conference win. LSU has now lost four straight, facing Alabama next, while Texas travels to Georgia.
