The Carolina Panthers have re-signed long snapper J.J. Jansen for his 18th season with the team. Jansen, who originally signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008, has been with the Panthers since being traded for a conditional seventh-round pick. He played all 17 games as the Panthers’ long snapper in 2025 and has been signing year-to-year contracts since his last five-year extension expired in 2016.
