Veteran point guard Cameron Payne is set to return to the NBA, reportedly signing with the Philadelphia 76ers after exercising an out clause in his contract with Partizan. In 15 games with Partizan, he averaged 11.9 points, 3.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. Payne, who attended training camp with the Indiana Pacers, is giving up $1.75 million in his buyout to make the NBA return. The 76ers, lacking depth at point guard since trading Jared McCain, could benefit from his experience.
