Philadelphia bolstered its roster ahead of the playoffs by signing veteran point guard Cameron Payne for the remainder of the season and converting Jabari Walker from a two-way to a standard contract. Payne, who averaged 6.9 points last season with the Knicks, was released from Partizan Belgrade after a buyout of $1.75 million. Meanwhile, Walker has contributed solid minutes in 45 games this season and was nearing the two-way contract limit. The second year of his new contract is likely minimally guaranteed.
