Alongside Poulin, Sarah Fillier, Brianne Jenner, Claire Thompson, and Blayre Turnbull contributed to the victory, while Emerance Maschmeyer made 10 saves. Germany’s Franziska Feldmeier became the first player to score against Canada in this Olympic matchup. Canada will face the winner of the Finland-Switzerland quarterfinal in the semifinals.
