KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Nate Ament led Tennessee with 22 points, helping the Volunteers defeat LSU 73-63. The game was tightly contested, tied at 50 before Tennessee pulled ahead with key 3-pointers and tip-ins. Ament, despite shooting 6-of-19, made 10 of 11 free throws and grabbed nine rebounds. LSU’s Marquel Sutton and Jalen Reece each scored 15 points, while the Volunteers improved to 18-7, winning their fifth straight in the series.
