The Raiders have officially hired Mike McCoy as their new assistant head coach, bringing 23 years of NFL coaching experience, including four years as head coach of the Chargers. McCoy previously served as offensive coordinator for the Broncos and Cardinals, with his offenses ranking in the top 10 three times and producing a top-10 passing attack six times. Most recently, he worked with the Titans as a senior offensive assistant and interim head coach, where he guided rookie Cam Ward to a franchise-record 3,169 passing yards.
