NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that the Las Vegas Raiders have hired Mike McCoy as assistant head coach under new head coach Klint Kubiak. McCoy, 53, has an extensive coaching career, starting with the Panthers in 2000 and including stints as offensive coordinator for the Broncos, Chargers, and Cardinals, as well as interim head coach for the Titans in 2025. During his tenure with the Chargers, he achieved a record of 27-36, including a playoff appearance. Most recently, he led the Titans to a 2-9 record as interim head coach.
