COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) — Maryland defeated Iowa 77-70, ending the Hawkeyes’ six-game win streak, led by Andre Mills with 24 points and David Coit contributing 19 off the bench. Mills scored 10 consecutive points to give Maryland a lead, while Coit extended it with five more. Despite Iowa’s Bennett Stirtz scoring 32 points, the team struggled with 10 missed 3-pointers in the final minutes. Maryland out-rebounded Iowa 34-25 and will face Rutgers next, while Iowa hosts No. 13 Purdue.
