The New York Mets have acquired left-handed pitcher Bryan Hudson from the Chicago White Sox for cash considerations after Hudson was designated for assignment. Previously drafted by the Cubs, Hudson had a standout season with the Brewers in 2024 but struggled in 2025 before joining the White Sox. His addition to the Mets’ bullpen comes as A.J. Minter is expected to return from injury, leaving Hudson vying for a roster spot among several competitors. Currently, Brooks Raley is the only confirmed lefty reliever in the bullpen.
