The Washington Capitals have recalled goaltender Garin Bjorklund from AHL Hershey, sending Clay Stevenson back to Hershey as part of their roster management during the Olympic break. With Charlie Lindgren on injured reserve, the team needs to maintain two goalies on the active roster. Stevenson, who has performed well in three starts for Washington, will gain playing time in the AHL, while Bjorklund is expected to return to Hershey post-break. Bjorklund, a sixth-round pick in 2020, has been serving as Stevenson’s backup this season.
