Former NFL player Barry Wilburn, a Super Bowl champion, died at 62 in a house fire in Tennessee on February 6, confirmed by his family. The Memphis Fire Department found him unresponsive at the scene after responding to the fire around 2 a.m. Wilburn, a standout defensive back at Ole Miss, was drafted in 1985 and played five years with Washington, where he led the NFL with nine interceptions in 1987 and recorded an interception in Super Bowl XXII. He also played for the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles later in his career.
