The Boston Celtics traded Josh Minott to the Brooklyn Nets after previously sending Chris Boucher to the Utah Jazz. Minott, 23, who had signed with Boston after starting his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaged 5.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 33 games this season. Despite showing promise early on, he fell out of the rotation due to an ankle sprain. This trade allows the Celtics to create roster space, which they have partially filled by signing Amari Williams to a two-way deal.
