U.S. snowboarder Red Gerard, 25, is set to compete in his third Olympics in Livigno, Italy, with around 40 family members cheering him on, significantly more than in PyeongChang. After missing the 2022 Games due to COVID, his family is excited to support him, especially his sister Tieghan, who will host a family dinner in Milan. Gerard will first compete in big air and then in slopestyle on February 18. While he anticipates a quieter celebration compared to 2018, he acknowledges the unpredictability of family gatherings.
