The Las Vegas Raiders are close to finalizing a deal with Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak as their new head coach after firing Pete Carroll following a disappointing season. The team, which ended with a 3-14 record, holds the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and is expected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Kubiak, son of Super Bowl-winning coach Gary Kubiak, was also a candidate for the Cardinals job, which remains unfilled. The Raiders have not won a playoff game since Super Bowl XXXVII and hope to turn their fortunes around with these changes.
