The Chicago Blackhawks have healthy-scratched defenseman Artyom Levshunov as part of an internal program to improve foundational skills, with no games expected until after the Olympics. Despite leading defensemen in scoring with two goals and 21 points, Levshunov has not met expectations since being the second overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Additionally, Nick Foligno is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury, and Brock Boeser may return from injury during the Canucks’ upcoming road trip, though he might be held out until post-Olympics.
