EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Yaxel Lendeborg led No. 3 Michigan with 26 points and 12 rebounds in an 83-71 win over seventh-ranked Michigan State, securing their spot at the top of the Big Ten. The Spartans struggled early, trailing by 18 points, but made a 13-2 run in the second half to briefly take the lead. Despite a strong push from Michigan State, Michigan’s clutch shooting sealed their sixth consecutive victory. Michigan will face Michigan State again on March 8 to conclude the regular season.
