Aaron Wilson of KPRC reports that the Los Angeles Rams are hiring Bubb Ventrone as their new special teams coordinator, a role he previously held with the Cleveland Browns for three seasons. Ventrone, who has also received interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers, began his coaching career with the New England Patriots and was the Colts’ special teams coordinator before joining the Browns. A former linebacker, he played for teams including the Patriots, Jets, Browns, and 49ers before retiring in 2014. Ventrone’s hiring follows the Browns’ decision to bring in new head coach Todd Monken, leading to changes in their coaching staff.
