Yaroslav Askarov made 23 saves to improve his record to 17-13-1, while the Canucks’ Thatcher Demko was announced to undergo hip surgery, sidelining him for the rest of the year. Tom Willander scored first for Vancouver, but Celebrini quickly equalized, marking his 27th goal of the season. The Sharks went 2 for 4 on the power play, and they will next face the Edmonton Oilers, while the Canucks host the Anaheim Ducks.
