The Atlanta Braves have reclaimed lefty pitcher José Suarez off waivers from the Baltimore Orioles after he was briefly DFA’d by them. In a corresponding move, the Braves designated right-hander George Soriano for assignment. Suarez previously had a solid showing with Atlanta, posting a 1.86 ERA in seven appearances last season. With Suarez out of options, it remains uncertain if the Braves will attempt to DFA him again for a minor league assignment.
