José Ramírez and the Cleveland Guardians are negotiating a seven-year, $175 million extension, with $70 million deferred. The 33-year-old third baseman, a seven-time All-Star, has spent his entire 13-year MLB career with the Guardians, where he ranks second in franchise history with 285 home runs. The new deal extends his contract through the 2032 season, adding four years and $106 million to his previous extension signed in 2022. Last season, Ramírez excelled with a .283 average, 30 home runs, and a career-high 44 stolen bases.
