Kawhi Leonard, known for his defensive prowess and mid-range shooting, is now embracing the 3-point shot, aiming for 12 attempts per game to help the struggling Los Angeles Clippers. In a recent victory over the Lakers, he scored 24 points, hitting 3 of 7 from beyond the arc, and is shooting 40% from three this season. Leonard’s focus on shooting more threes has contributed to the Clippers’ recent success, winning 14 of their last 17 games. Coach Tyronn Lue noted that this shift has allowed the team to increase their overall three-point attempts significantly.
