The Atlanta Falcons are interviewing Steelers assistant GM Andy Weidl for their general manager position, according to Mark Kaboly. Other candidates include Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham (requested), 49ers director of scouting Josh Williams (interviewed), Panthers EVP Brandt Tilis (scheduled), and Lions COO Mike Disner (requested). Weidl has a lengthy NFL career, starting with the Steelers in 1998, and has held positions with the Saints, Ravens, and Eagles before returning to Pittsburgh in 2022.
