The Chicago Bears have signed tight end Qadir Ismail to a futures contract, allowing him to compete for a roster spot during offseason workouts and training camp. Ismail, 25, began his career at Villanova as a quarterback before transitioning to wide receiver and went undrafted from Samford. He has previously been on practice squads for the Ravens, Raiders, Giants, and Jaguars. Standing 6’6″, he is the son of former NFL WR Qadry Ismail and nephew of Rocket Ismail.
