Tavion Banks added 12 points for Iowa, which shot 47% from the field. For Rutgers, Darren Buchanan Jr. scored 17 points and Tariq Francis had 15, as the Scarlet Knights lost their third of four games. The game concluded with Iowa sealing the win through free throws after Rutgers narrowed the gap late in the fourth quarter.
