Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones were elected to baseball’s Hall of Fame, with Beltrán receiving 358 votes (84.2%) and Jones 333 votes (78.4%). Beltrán, a nine-time All-Star with 435 homers, was previously embroiled in controversy over the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal. Jones, a five-time All-Star and a ten-time Gold Glove winner, had a career batting average of .254 and is noted for being the youngest player to homer in a World Series game. They will be inducted on July 26, along with Jeff Kent.
