The New York Giants have requested an interview with Vikings passing game coordinator and DB coach Daronte Jones for their defensive coordinator position, as reported by Adam Schefter. The Jets and Cowboys have also expressed interest in Jones for similar roles. Jones, 46, has a diverse coaching background, including stints at UCLA, the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes, and NFL teams like the Dolphins and Bengals before returning to the Vikings. He previously served as a defensive coordinator at LSU in 2021.
