Manchester United have recalled 19-year-old Lucy Newell from her loan at Birmingham City, ending her spell prematurely. Newell, who made four appearances for Birmingham, was initially set to remain for the entire season but was primarily a squad player. Having joined Manchester United permanently in summer 2024 after impressing in their academy, she may be loaned out again soon to gain more match experience.
