Andy Reid has become the longest-tenured active head coach in the NFL following the resignations of Mike Tomlin from the Steelers after 19 seasons and the firing of John Harbaugh after 18 seasons with the Ravens. Currently, only six head coaches hired before 2020 remain, while 10 teams have hired coaches within the last two years, leading to 59% of the league having first-, second-, or third-year head coaches. There are currently nine teams searching for a new head coach, including the Giants, Titans, and Ravens.
