The Pirates signed right-hander Noah Davis to a minor league deal after he opted for free agency following multiple outright assignments, including not being added back to the Twins’ 40-man roster. Davis, who has a 9.53 ERA over 27 MLB games, struggled notably with home runs, allowing 17 in 62 1/3 innings, particularly during his time in Colorado. Despite lackluster major league performance, his 3.88 ERA in Triple-A as a reliever in 2025 has piqued Pittsburgh’s interest in his potential development under new pitching coach Bill Murphy.
