The Cleveland Browns have requested an interview with Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase for their head coaching position, according to Adam Schefter. Although Scheelhaase lacks extensive experience, he is gaining attention in this coaching cycle and is seen as a viable candidate for an offensive coordinator role. The Browns have already interviewed several candidates, including Ravens OC Todd Monken and their own DC Jim Schwartz, while also requesting interviews with others like Seahawks DC Aden Durde. Scheelhaase, 35, began his coaching career at Illinois before moving to Iowa State and eventually joining the Rams in 2024.
