The Mets have signed Christian Arroyo to a minor league deal with an invitation to big league spring training, according to Mike Puma of The New York Post. Arroyo, 30, last played in the majors in 2023 and has a career batting line of .252/.299/.394 over 295 games with teams including the Giants and Red Sox. He has played all four infield positions and right field, and in 2025, he hit .301/.367/.457 in 50 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley in the Phillies’ minor league system.
