The Calgary Flames have assigned left wing prospect Andrew Basha back to the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers for his final junior season. The 20-year-old was drafted 41st overall in 2024 after a breakout season but faced injury challenges last year, limiting his development. In the AHL this season, he struggled, posting 1 goal and 4 assists in 27 games. The Flames hope that returning to junior hockey will help him regain confidence and develop into a top-nine power forward.
