The San Francisco Giants have signed left-hander Nick Margevicius to a minor league contract that includes an $825K salary if he reaches the majors, along with an invitation to Spring Training. Margevicius, who last played in the MLB in 2021, had a successful stint with Triple-A Toledo in 2025, posting a 3.89 ERA and adding a cutter to his repertoire. Although he didn’t make the Tigers’ MLB roster, the Giants see potential for him as a depth option or long reliever. His experience, despite being from several years ago, could be beneficial in their competition for the fifth starter role.
