James Nnaji committed to Baylor, as reported by sources to The Athletic. The 21-year-old, who was the No. 31 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, has four years of college eligibility granted by the NCAA after being traded from the Pistons to the Hornets and then to the Knicks. Nnaji never played in the NBA or G League, having spent time playing overseas, and averaged 3.2 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Knicks in the Summer League in 2025.
