James Nnaji, whose NBA Draft rights are owned by the Knicks, has enrolled at Baylor University for the current college basketball season, as reported by Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress. The 21-year-old center, who previously played for the Knicks’ Summer League team, averaged 3.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in five games. Selected 31st overall by the Pistons in the 2023 NBA Draft, Nnaji’s rights were traded to the Knicks in October 2024 as part of a three-team deal. He now continues his career at Baylor, which is 9-2 overall, with Big 12 play starting on January 3 against TCU.
