The Boston Celtics may retain Anfernee Simons for the season, as reported by Jake Fischer of The People’s Insider. Following the trades of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday last summer, the Celtics are open to paying some luxury tax. Simons, who is in the final year of his $27.6 million contract, is currently averaging 13.0 points and 2.3 assists in 23.8 minutes per game.
