Kon Knueppel Breaks NBA Record
Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel made history as the fastest player to reach 100 three-pointers in NBA history, achieving the milestone in just 29 games during a 139-132 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 20-year-old, who was the fourth pick in the 2025 draft, scored five of nine attempts from beyond the arc, finishing with 20 points. Previously, the record was held by Lauri Markkanen, who reached 100 three-pointers in 41 games. Despite Knueppel’s achievement, the Hornets sit 12th in the Eastern Conference, while the Cavaliers are seventh.
