Five Los Angeles Chargers players, including quarterback Justin Herbert and safety Derwin James Jr., were named to the AFC’s Pro Bowl squad. Herbert, a two-time Pro Bowler, is among the few in NFL history to start his career with six seasons of over 3,000 passing yards and 20 touchdowns. James, a five-time selection, leads defensive backs in tackles and interceptions, while kicker Cameron Dicker and linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu also received honors. Tackle Joe Alt was a surprise inclusion despite an injury-plagued season, and four additional Chargers were named Pro Bowl alternates.
