Crosby recorded a goal and an assist, bringing his career total to 1,724 points, while Rickard Rakell scored the decisive shootout goal. Arturs Silovs achieved his first win since November, and the Penguins, who led 3-2 entering the third period, secured their first shootout win of the season. The Canadiens, now 4-1-2 since a loss to Tampa Bay, continue their road trip at Boston on Tuesday.
