The Kansas City Chiefs have placed quarterback Gardner Minshew on injured reserve due to a significant knee injury, ending his season with two games remaining. In his place, the team has signed QB Shane Buechele from the Buffalo Bills practice squad. Minshew, a former sixth-round pick, played four games for the Chiefs this season, completing six of 13 passes for 37 yards and one interception. He previously played for the Jaguars, Eagles, Colts, and Raiders before joining Kansas City.
