Olivier Rioux, a 7ft 9in (2.36m) teenager from the Florida Gators, has set a record as the tallest player to score in college basketball history after dunking during a game against Saint Francis, which ended 102-61. At 19, he was recognized by Guinness World Records as the tallest teenager in 2021. Rioux, who previously scored a free throw on November 21, surpasses current NBA players, with the tallest being Victor Wembanyama at 7ft 4in (2.24m). Historically, the tallest NBA players are Manute Bol and Gheorghe Muresan, both at 7ft 7in (2.31m).
