The Cincinnati Reds have reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with reliever Caleb Ferguson, pending a physical, to bolster their bullpen after releasing Brent Suter. Ferguson, 29, had a solid 2025 season with a 3.58 ERA over 70 appearances between the Pirates and Mariners, but his low home run rate may not be sustainable. The Reds currently only have Sam Moll as their lefty option, who has shown inconsistency. Ferguson’s addition provides a much-needed left-handed presence in the bullpen.
