The Atlanta Braves signed shortstop Ha-Seong Kim to a one-year, $20-million contract after claiming him off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays. Kim, who declined a $16-million option for 2026, is expected to be the Braves’ starting shortstop for Opening Day. In 2025, he recorded five homers, 17 RBIs, and six stolen bases over 48 games, following a productive 2023 season with the San Diego Padres where he achieved 17 home runs and 60 RBIs.
