Atlanta Hawks center Kristaps Porziņģis is expected to miss at least two more weeks due to ongoing health issues related to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition he was diagnosed with last season. After averaging 19.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in the first 13 games, he hasn’t played since December 5, missing seven of the last eight games. POTS causes symptoms like rapid heart rate and fatigue, and while Porziņģis has managed it effectively in recent months, it remains a challenge for his career. The Hawks, currently 14-12, are hoping for his return by the end of the year.
