Sam Ehlinger declined to join the Colts’ 53-player roster this week, opting to remain on the practice squad with the Broncos, where he expressed he is “really happy.” A sixth-round pick by the Colts in 2021, Ehlinger started three games in 2022 but is being elevated to the game-day roster for the first time this season. The Broncos also promoted wide receiver Michael Bandy and signed inside linebacker Jordan Turner from the practice squad. Tight end Marcedes Lewis was added back to the practice squad after being waived.
