Former Nationals interim manager Miguel Cairo is set to join the Orioles as an infield coach, while Joe Singley will be added as field coordinator and catching coach. Cairo, who managed Washington for 29-43 after taking over in July, has coaching experience with multiple teams, and Singley previously worked with the Reds and Marlins, focusing on improving defensive performance among catchers.
