Kiké Hernández announced he underwent surgery on his left elbow, an injury that affected him throughout the season, and will miss the World Baseball Classic for Puerto Rico. The free agent played 93 games with the Dodgers, contributing 16 postseason hits to their second consecutive World Series title, but had a regular season batting average of .203 with 10 homers and 35 RBIs.
